Cecret Lake

Once upon a time, Bean and I got married 5 years ago in June. On our anniversary we wanted to do something "fun", unfortunately our idea of fun involved coordination, balance, sweating, and endurance, things that I am not so equipped with these days. Instead we opted for a hike to the classic "Cecret Lake" a mere .4 miles. Well when we got to Alta ski resort the road was closed and after talking to some guy we found out that the trail was covered in snow anyway. Fine by us, we were just happy to be outside together. We ended up "exploring" much of Albion Basin in hopes of finding "Cecret Lake" to no avail. After four hours of searching we decided that we would come back with our babies when the weather warmed and the trail could be seen. So here is documentation of our recent adventure.


Bean's genius idea to bring the stroller as far as we could...this is about as far as we wanted to.

We ditched the stroller when it got rough. Then Bean packed the kids the rest of the way. Thank you Bean for having strong muscles. We made it! Look at those happy faces, they were sooo cold. At least Cecret Lake is no longer a secret.
