February Happenings

We blessed sweet baby Isaac.  My sister-in-law, Shelley, took some great photos!   He is my little bunny.

He is napping right now, but this photo makes me want to go in and kiss his cheeks!
For Valentines we made heart jello.  It was a hit.  This picture cracks me up.  I said, "Everyone put your head by the jello and look up."  This is what we got.  Don't worry that Kenya is in a swim suit, Brigham is in jammies, and Isaac is crying.  We are actually almost always in clean clothes, hair done, and smiling.
Swim lessons begin.  Kenya loves swimming so much that she rarely stops smiling, as noted by the picture. A few of the moms have commented about how Kenya is so smiley, pretty funny.  This might be her "thing".
Brigham is the master back floater.  The first two times he hated it and said that his teacher was soooo mean.  Now he tells me how nice his teacher is after every lesson.

Lest you think that Andy is bored on my lap during the lesson...oops jammies again.

Less than a week after seeing Grandpa Betz at Isaac's blessing, he passed away. We are going to miss him, but are so grateful for what he has taught us. After the funeral all of the cousins gathered to do a balloon launch with messages attached for Grandpa (red, white, and blue for Patriot Phil).  We are so blessed to be members of such an incredible family.
It snowed! We hurried outside before it melted and made a snowman.  I should take a picture of him now, all that is left is a little snowball (2 days later).
Brigham went inside because his sock fell off in his boot (hate that!) and Kenya and Andy busted out some pretty good snow angels.
When we went inside this is what I found.  Brigham said, "Mom, Izzy was crying so I am playing with him and now he isn't crying anymore!"  Thanks buddy!..................................WHAT! more jammies?

Sweet little Isaac! I can't believe you're having snow, and we're in short sleeves... strange! Sorry to hear about your grandpa. You do have a wonderful family. Also, it does not surprise me in the least that Kenya is "smiley". She's totally you!
